General Session (Poster and Oral Presentation)

  September 26 9:30-12:00 Oral presentation (at Pa•Ru•Ru hall; with simultaneous interpretation)
September 27 19:00-20:30 Poster presentation (at Large Conference Room)
 
  • Only members of Japanese Society of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine and persons concerned with COE program, except visitors from oversea, can make presentation at General Session.
  • One title per person should be submitted (you should be in charge of your presentation).
    All attendances can apply for poster presentation. Among submissions several general oral presentations will be chosen by the executive committee. These presenters chosen should make both poster and oral presentations.
  • All oral presentations should be done by using Microsoft PowerPoint, and oral presenters should send a CD containing a PowerPoint file for own presentation to the secretariat by September 11 (Mon.).
  • In symposiums except free meetings simultaneous interpretation (Japanese into English or English into Japanese) will be provided. You can make presentation in Japanese or English language, but all power point should be written in English.
  • Please submit your presentation text (a final draft or a working draft) to the secretariat by August 25 (Fri.).
  • At the presentation hall, Windows (XP) and Macintosh (OSX) personal computers are available for presenters.
  • In general oral presentation the executive committee will chair for the first presentation, then, the presenter should chair for the next presentation with introductions of the title and name of presenter.

  • The size of the panel for poster presentation is 90 cm in length and 180 cm in width (oblong). Put up your poster on the panel between 8:30-9:30 on September 26, and remove it between 8:30-13:00 on September 28. Please bring push pins by each one (The secretariat prepare some pins).

  • For details about the application for the presentation subject, please refer to the conference information (2nd version) in the Journal Vol.11-No.1. An application form and a presentation summary must be submitted by June 30.

  • The Best Presentation Award and the Best Poster Award will be voted by conference participants, and the Chief Award (for students and graduate students only) will be chosen by the executive committee. Award winners will be praised after the Luncheon Seminar on September 28.
